Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales

Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales is a designated further education institution committed to providing community based learning opportunities for people in Wales wishing to re-engage with education; in particular those who do not wish to follow traditional education routes.

Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales operates very differently to most further education Colleges. In the traditional sense of the word, it isn’t a college at all. Rather than using a central location, all courses are held at venues in the community and are delivered by local tutors. This provides a comfortable, familiar learning environment which appeals to everyone looking to learn new skills, from school leavers to retired people.

Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales offers a wide range of learning opportunities for people across Wales, and encourages students to use what they have learned to improve the quality of life for themselves and their communities.

The majority of courses offered lead to Agored Cymru certificates which are recognised by further and higher education providers, and many employers.
